The Space Ventures Coalition

Who We Are

Space Ventures Coalition

The Space Ventures Coalition (SVC) is an industry-focused affiliate of the Alliance for Southern California Innovation. The SVC consists of a partnership between The Aerospace Corporation, The NASA Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), and The RAND Corporation. Members also include the University Space Research Association (USRA), MD5, and other Federally Funded Research & Development Centers, government agencies, and non-profit organizations. For profit supporters include such organizations as, Starburst Accelerator, Northrop Grumman and a number of start-ups and established companies in the aerospace domain.

What We Do

We partner with universities and startups to expose them to commercial and government space programs and connect them with resources such as partners, mentors, customers and investors.

We are looking for software, hardware, materials and new manufacturing techniques with potential application to the space industry.

Why We Do It

Universities and startups need help commercializing their IP while the government and industry need help connecting to non-traditional (innovate) communities. SVC is a mechanism to achieve both those goals.
